Forward Days Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Introduction

This policy explains what information Forward Days handles and the choices you have. Forward Days is a private sobriety tracker from LifeFlowApps. It is designed to work without an account, with recovery information stored on your device by default.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your focuses, start dates, pledges, check-ins, journal entries, urges, recovery context, reminders, chapters, settings, and other progress information in a local database on your device. App Lock can protect access with biometrics or a PIN supported by your device.

Optional account and private sync

You can use the local features without an account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google and enable Pro sync, Forward Days sends your recovery data to LifeFlowApps servers so it can be backed up and synchronized across your devices. We handle the account identifier and email address supplied by the sign-in provider. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Optional product analytics

Before onboarding, Forward Days asks whether you want to share app-usage analytics. Choosing “Not now” keeps analytics off and does not restrict the app. You can change the choice later in Settings. Events that occur while analytics is off are not saved for later upload.

When enabled, analytics records allowlisted product interactions under a random identifier created for the current app session. It does not include sobriety or reset dates, journal entries, reasons, cravings, recovery context, focus names, account identity, email address, or Apple or Google identifiers. Forward Days does not use advertising identifiers, automatic capture, session replay, or cross-app identity matching for these events.

Analytics is sent to PostHog. The app requests that location enrichment be disabled, but an internet service may still process network information needed to receive a request. The final App Store privacy disclosure will reflect the configured production service.

Purchases and subscriptions

Optional Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store together with RevenueCat. We receive subscription status needed to provide Pro access, but not your payment card details. Apple and RevenueCat handle their records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Export and deletion

Settings → Export data creates a private JSON copy on your device. Settings → Delete local data removes the counter, journal, urges, settings, and drafts from that device.

If you have an account, Settings → Delete account permanently deletes the account and synced backup from LifeFlowApps servers. Data already on the device is not removed by that action; use Delete local data separately if you also want to erase the device copy. If you cannot access the app, email support@lifeflowapps.com from the account email when possible.

Changes and contact

We will update this page and its date when these practices change. For privacy questions or a deletion request, email hello@lifeflowapps.com. Do not include journal entries, recovery context, or other sensitive details in email.
